About ivKubbC
The International Virtual Kubb Challenge (Championship) is an online format to play Kubb together and against other Kubb players. Everyone can participate. In 2 rounds plus finals, the participants throw the six batons on Kubbs at different distances (4-5-6-7-8m). For each distance, different points are granted. Each round needs to be live-streamed in the associated Facebook group. The best participants in each category continue in the finals. Competition Time is usually during May.
The Story
The International Virtual Kubb Challenge (Championship) was initiated by Manuel Martínez Gámez (Presidente) and the Spanish Kubb Association (AEK) in 2019. The idea is to provide a great Kubb Challenge and virtual competition to all passionate Kubb-lovers. every year, Kubb players meet in the associated Facebook group, live stream their games and comment on each other. Many players from different backgrounds take part in this competition.
Since 2024, the DKubbB (German Kubb Association) agreed to support and co-organize the ivKubbC. Overall, this competition encourages the participation of everyone and underlines the friendship between the different associations.
